My Help ID™ was founded by current and former first responders with over a century of combined experience themselves. They consulted with emergency room doctors to find out what more could be done to help save lives in an emergency. It was agreed, that in an emergency, they currently had no way to provide emergency notification to family members. And in many emergency situations, the identity of a patient may be unknown, thus hindering the first responders' ability to do all that they can for the patient. My Help ID™ was established to give subscribers the items needed to provide emergency personnel with life saving information. My Help ID™ gives each member a coded wallet card, wristband, auto stickers and more to help identify the member, as well as, notify family in an emergency.
In addition to giving life-saving information to first responders when seconds count, My Help ID™ also gives its members a secure place to organize and manage their family’s health history. My Med Stats is an online database where members can store as little or as much information as they would like, for each of their family members. Family caregivers can use this tool to keep track of doctor’s appointments, physicals, vitals, medications and even allergies.
My Help ID™ was developed in honor of a friend that spent his free time care-giving for his 88 year old mother, 15 year old sophomore and 18 year old college bound son. In addition to all the doctor appointments, dentist appointments, and orthodontist appointments, he also managed his own health history all while living with Multiple Sclerosis. My Help ID™ and My Med Stats became the perfect tool for him and his family.
